Contrary to popular belief, there aren’t any specific missions or areas these parts drop in. In these crates, you’re looking for three parts: the SMG Loaded Canister, the SMG Creative Magazine, and the SMG Modified Mods. They tend to be most common in the east of Judiciary Square, to the northeast of the Federal Square safehouse, and in the three main Hyena invaded missions, Grand Washington Hotel, Jefferson Memorial, and the District Union Arena stronghold. These can be found strewn across the open world and within missions, although they’re fairly well-hidden. The next step is hunting for Hyena caches.
At the absolute minimum and with perfect luck, you’ll need four of them-although I burned through about 12 before finally getting all the parts. It’s random chance which faction key you get from a box, so you’ll just have to try every Underground until you have a decent enough stash of Hyena keys. To make a long story short, head into the underground tunnels and look for key boxes on the wall. Next, you’ll want to farm as many Hyena Keys as you can, which we already have a guide on. We can't guarantee specific Hyena crate locations in this region of the map so you're going to need to have a search yourself, but we recommend tackling the District Union Arena stronghold a few times because you'll find a couple there.

The only Hyena crate we know of here is in the Jefferson Trade Center mission, in the loading dock at the end of the garage.įinally, you need to get the Modified Mods from Judiciary Square. This is found in the same manner loot as many Hyena crates as possible, but this time it has to be inside Federal Triangle. When you've got the Loaded Canister, it's time to look for the Creative Mag. There's also another Hyena crate in the ground floor of the MLK Memorial Library under the stairs, but you'll need to wait 24 hours for this to reset each time. The first is in a small bathroom after clearing the lobby, and the second is to the right when you enter the rooftop. There's two Hyena crates during the Grand Washington Hotel mission, so go ahead and replay that a few times to loot them as much as possible. Each component is region locked, and the Loaded Canister can be found exclusively from Hyena crates in Downtown East. The first part of the Chatterbox you need to grab is the Loaded Canister. So the first thing you need to do is farm a lot of The Division 2 Hyena key locations, so you definitely end up with enough keys to open a bunch of Hyena crates.
